"Fresh" for 2016

It would only seem fitting that our first session for 2016 would be a newborn. And boy, was he ever a DREAM to photograph. At 12 days new, he was the most malleable newborn we've had to date (that I can remember). And the cherry on top... Wait for it... Not once did he make a mess on us! I think that may be a first when it comes to our experiences with newborns. We always sheepishly apologize to our clients when they show up for their newborn sessions because, well, we're a bit sloppy looking. We anticipate sweating (hey, we keep the studio very warm for newborn sessions, and contrary to what one might think, they're a lot of work!!), and getting some kind of bodily fluid on us courtesy of our tiny clients; thus, we do not wear our "Sunday's best" for any newborn sessions...we've learned better than to do that.

What a wonderful way to usher in the New Year. Thank you for sharing your adorable baby boy, Henry, with us. Congratulations you two on the new addition to your family!
