When it comes to Nebraska weather...it's...different. You never have days that are terribly consistent from one to the next and while we have "seasons", sometimes Mother Nature likes to rebel in our great state and we get lovely (or not-so-lovely) surprises. Not so good: this past Fall my family suffered an unexpected hit from a tornado on our home (on the night we were supposed to have our own family photos taken...go figure). Or strange: I have a screen shot of my phone with a weather app open - it shows that it was currently in the 60's (in February!) with a blizzard warning across the top. But, then we get lucky and have incredibly beautiful days in the winter that bring people out of their homes to soak up the sun and warmth while they have the chance. And what better way to celebrate these awesome days than by playing at a park?!?
Meet Chase:

Can you guess how old he is?!? ;)
We photographed him first at 3 years old with his parents and he was awesome then...he didn't let me down this time either! It was such a pleasure getting to follow him around and being invited into his imagination, all while getting to document it. We were surround by dinosaurs, swinging high, and playing in the rocks - it was perfection.

Thanks Chase for letting me play!
